Zeca

Zeca founded the studio and still tattoos in it every week. He is also a painter and a sculptor, and it shows in the way he builds a piece: portraits and animals in black and grey, drawn first and shaded slowly.

Alongside the realism he does fine-line botanical work, much of it drawn from the island: strelitzia, hibiscus, turtles.

Years of experience have given him wide artistic range, and a challenge is what he enjoys most. He works for the client: you arrive with half an idea, he asks the right questions, explains every step, and you leave with the tattoo you actually wanted.
